Just an FYI... I installed the hitch U-Haul is now carrying for the '05 X last night. $160 + tax without the wiring harness. It took an hour to install and was relativly easy once I read the instructions. :p The fun part was heel hooking the bumper with the hitch sitting on my chest and pulling it up into place so I could thread the bolts.

The hitch sits right above the exhaust tip, so I get the rattle on start up that has been mentioned earlier. It may be that Nissan Design just didn't bend the tip down the 3 or 4 degrees necessary for clearance.

BTW, crash pads work great when working on the bottom of the X!
