Our experience in a rare north Texas blizzard over New Year's was that driving slowly and sensibly worked fine in our 4x2. The people to watch out for are the ones that think 4x4 and ABS mean they can drive like it's sunny and 75 degrees.

A few of those passed us and then we passed them again...because they were upside down on the side of the road.

hey its not like i had a tow strap handy.
what was i suposed to do, tie a shirt between my x and a grand cherokee?

i think it was rather nice of me to have given them the idea to put jackets and towels under their tires...
