If you own a 2WD, what have you done to it? What do you do with it/use it for? Pics? Just curious to see 2WD people and their rigs. laugh

I've done a 2" BL, a PML, headunit/amp/subs, alarm w/ remote start. No pictures of the stereo, but here's one from the outside.

should be getting some new wheels/tires, and hopefully some sliders and a shrock rear bumper soon.

I've got shackles on the way, but I don't think I'll be satisfied. I'll end up getting a BL as well. System wise, I've got a Polk Audio 10" and a Navone Engineering/Autosound 2000 Line driver for the factory headunit. I'm getting new speakers in the near future. It never ends......... [Crybaby]

Well, I finally got my shackles here and put them on. It does make a difference, I will admit. My 10 year old son even noticed, and loved it! Later down the road I will either go with the BL or I was thinking about a SL. Haven't decided yet. I will probably getting new tires before next winter as well.

I've got an 02 SC 2WD. I just put some wheels on it and have been contemplating a BL or SL, maybe a push bar.

id rather have those than my titans, but at least mine were cheap laugh

I like those wheels as well! And ScottXGTR, has the car audio technology gods provided an 18" that sounds decent? When I saw my first 18", 15 yrs ago, they sounded very muddy. The only reason one would purchase them was to be, " bigger than yours." I'm not saying that's what your doing, 'cause things are different now. I just mean do they sound decent?

yeah man. ive ran everything from 10s on up to 15s with good and bad choices along the way. this 18 was a really good choice. Fi Car Audio has 4 different models available in the 18. the 18Q is their sound quality oriented woofer. not sure how they made a 1000w woofer with 27mm Xmax sound this good but they succeeded. i love it, especially for the price. they also have the lesser model SSD which sounds good, and the BL and BTL are geared more towards total output. The designer at Fi (scott) has been designing for years and is responsible for the RE line that everyone was raving over before US amps bought RE out.

i bought it because my buddy is probably about your age as well. telling me about the good ole days when he ran some kicker 18s. i got an suv and he's been bugging me about using the extra space wisely. so i tried a pair of 15s, 4 12s, and finally settled in on 1 18. all have had about the same output but this one hits very low and with a 30hz tuning, sounds awesome. i listen to mostly rock and it fits my music and tastes very well. strong output, great response, and solid kick drums. give it a shot if you got a mere $300.

I've got a few friends that would definitely be interested! Thanx fot the info. Unfortunately i don't have the room, 2 kids, 2 dogs, and my son and I have 2 bags of soccer gear, cause I still play, in the rear. 1 Boston 10" is all I can handle. I don't play it real loud much anymnore, except when I'm alone. But SQ is a MUST. I appreciate the info, and will definitely pass the info on.

You could try a truck shop in your area, they will be able. But it's so easy, save the money and do it yourself. There is a great how-to in this forum. Just do a search.

What paint did you use for the roof rack, nerfs, grills, bumper etc.? How did you prep the roof rack while still keeping the sticker on? did you still sand and prime with the sticker on, and then just peeled it off after the paint job?

Not my personal style but I do like the amount of work and detail you have in your truck.....especially since its 2wd....if it were a 4wd well......

i would hope 4 12s is louder than 1 18. you got some nice stuff in there. but i have a bias against anything with 7 in the name.

ive done 4 12s, 2 12s, 2 15s, etc. i know what yours is capable of. doing it with a single woofer is more fun tho. especially at 30hz.

I haven't done a whole lot to mine yet.

Switched out the stock tires for Goodyear Wranglers.
Put in the drop in K&N air filter.
Tinted the windows.
Putting in a new deck this week.

It's my every day driver. Got a bike rack for hauling the bikes to the mountain. Gone camping a few times too.
