Shortbus, are those the stock tires on your X? Just wondering, because I still have my general grabbers on mine and I would like to know how well they do off-road.

They are stock but since its a 2000 it came with the BFG Long-Trails rather than the Grabbers. The L-T's did great though. I will probably switch to a 31"x10.5" AT after these wear out since I do some backing in and out of boat ramps.

the LT's are good tires for stock the squeeling when in hard("lock") turns is annoying... my next tires will probably be 31"(or 32")x10.5" MT's i have buddy who works for Bridgestone so they are cheap, i can get 2 sets of Mt's for the price most pay for AT's, plus the MT's look more aggressive, im just to lazy to drive the 20 miles to his shop.

So you can get that deal for a few of your "friends" too, right?

nope... sadly.

I tried to work out a deal to line up SCCX but he would have to answer for the tires if more than a couple sets a year were sold that cheap... he can get away with a set or two a year but seing as his hobby(side business) is restoring cars, he usually buys a couple a year himself

i don't think they make a 32x10.5 it is 11.5 if i recall correctly. also remember in your choice that the BFG MTs aren't sipped, so they suck in the rain, believe you me. personally if i had to do it over again, i would get the new Interco super swamper Truxxus tires. those are sweet MTs. they look to be built as an MT should be. plus they look absolutely killer, for those that care about that. once people start running these, i think they will never ever look a the BFG MTs again unless BFG makes some MAJOR improvements. the Truxxus are sipped, BTW.
