Man, I got scared for you just looking at those photos. Are you guys in any danger? The smoke must be choking you guys out when the wind is blowing in the wrong direction. Good luck. I heard that there was high humidity lately and it was slowing the progress a bit. Hope everything works out.

LOL! Yes, that is my personal web page.

I was going to start a blog but in order to make it easy to update and look the way I want, the whole site needs to be changed to CSS...one of these days I will get around to updating everything.

The sad thing about this fire is that two weeks ago it was 70% contained and the forest service began to take resources off the mountain. By that time it had destroyed 50K arces and a small town at the top of the mountain. THEN the wind changed direction and it started to burn up the front side of the mountain (what you see in the pictures) and head toward the expensive homes in the foothills below. eek

As of yesterday, they again think the fire is 70% contained at it wont destroy any more homes but I shudder to think what the mountain's going to look like after all this is said and done.
