NJ Teen Unlocks AT&T iPhone

It never ceases to amaze me what an overeager techie can do with 500 hours to spare. [LOL]

Doubt there will be hundreds of people soldering their $600 phone just to run it on T-Mobile over Cingular(Bar of service).

I think Apple were retarded restricting it to a single network. It's an awesome device, but I won't be buying one until I'm able to use the network of my choice and they fix the Internet speed in the next gen.

Still only have the choice between T-Mobil or AT&T. Why bother with the expense and risk as well as reduced functionality?

I'll never get one as they have been banned from my workplace as is any photo taking device.

Eh two more years my friend.. two more before that happens. frown

Have you seen many on the streets yet? I've only seen 2 thus far. I really think the exclusivity approach is the reason for this.

6 of the people who work in my office of about 30 geeks have them. Plus we use one for QA testing.

I bought an Iphone and have been waiting for this. I will get the software unlock tomorrow and will be able to use it for my 3 Sims: Rogers At&T and Orange.

The phone is sweet indeed

Well I guess getting the iPhone onto a network that actually feels faster than dialup is a start.....
