is Amsoil going to come out with a cold air intake kit for the xterra ? I know they have just the regular air filter -

is the reason why they have not come out with it yet because they see no differenc in performance with a box filter vs a cold air filter intake ?

You can get the cone filters from amsoil and add that to one of the other aftermarket intakes. I don't really see the point in amsoil having to make a short ram for the first gens? is this just because you trust their name so much?

Performance wise they're all relatively the same (ie. not xterraordinary)
