Does anyone have any info for emission test in Cali with this mod or any other state that has emissions laws. I have the FIPK2 . Love it and will fight to keep it . I imagine feedback about the the other makes of airfilters usefull as well

From the K&N website under FAQ's; K&N FIPK’s are legal in all 50 states. Each FIPK has been submitted and has received exemption by the California Air Resources Board (CARB). Since California has some of the toughest emission laws in the country, their approval has been accepted as legal by other states. Each of these kits comes with a high temperature sticker with the CARB exempt “EO” number. This sticker differentiates approved devices from non-approved devices. As long as you have the approved sticker you shouldn’t have any problems with vehicle inspections.

K&N used my truck as the prototype for testing so I got the first one! For free to boot. Anyways here's a picture of the sticker that says the intake is CARB legal.

If you know its 50 state legal, why would you have to fight to keep it? Also, why would you care what kind of test had been done to prove it?
