Talked to SLR today about the inside weld issues on the headders, and they said that they are changing the collector design to fix this issue and the new model should be out in around a week. Also they said they are hoping to drop the cost a little at the same time. laugh

Sounds like good news on what seemed to have been a disapointing start for their headers.

Great news..

Now if they can just stop screwing everyone that orders from them then they would REALLY be getting somewhere..

Jorge is still having problems getting stuff from them. (and he is not alone in his problem - been going on for years)

What does your need to constantly bash SLR have to do with headers?

I have no problem with their headers, exsept they had holles in them wink , but when some one is looking to purchase from them, they should keep in mind the shipping

Their shipping suck ass !
have you read that thread ?

and spencers excuses are realy stupid, "oh, it has been shiped already" and then the tracking number that he provides 2 weeks later shows that the package is in the mail only for a day or so

I never got my money back after sending back my headers, I hope spencer low feels good about screwing people. I hope anyone that orders from them realizes they are taking a big chance of losing thier cash.
On top of the fact that the preformance of the headers I had was minimal, he told me that if they built them with a collector that the preformance would be even less. The only gains I felt were in the very top end, it isnt worth it for all the low end you lose.
If you do buy them I hope you dont expect instructions or any hardware to mount them with, if you have any problems dont expect any help over the phone either.

i'm friends with jorge too and i'm really upset that he's having so many problems with SLR. i personally went through it too and also warn people of what might happen when buying from him/ them. it's really too bad it has to be like that.
