First, remove the wind deflector on the roof rack. It's not really necessary anyway. Use the cover that snaps onto the glass if you need to block the sun. Then slide your cross-rails on the rack all the way to the back. Usually the front one is right behind the sun roof.

This way you'll get a drastic reduction in wind noise when driving abover 50 mph (when the noise starts getting loud). Still quiet at 65 too.

Good tip, miket - makes sense!

I'm not too worried about the sunroof myself - it's the damned windows that are just out of control. Yikes! The window visors do nothing to reduce it, either.

No doubt about it - depending on how you open the windows, the drumming is terrible. Whatever sh!t head(s) designed this thing should be forced to ride in it with the windows down.
