The bendix (gear that engages the flywheel) was sticking sometimes causing it to drag after the engine started.

Start to finish was about an hour.

For a 2WD it would be a rather easy swap. However for those of us with 4WD it is a bit more difficult due to the front driveline (tight to get the starter in and out)
