Hi folks! Been gone a while and I'm not sure if this question has come up. (The search engine didn't turn up anything) Anyways, my driver's side front bumper seems to be separating/sagging - there is a gap from the frame to the front bumper one cm more than the left side.

Someone on ITW a long while ago said that there was a simple solution (aside from being gored by the dealer or auto body shop). I know my eyes need checking, but I couldn't find which bolts needed readjusting. Anyone know or have pics?

ealier back i read something on here about a bumper adjustment bolt on each side of the bumper. this should be covered under warranty if you have less than 36k miles.

I assume you mean there is a gap between the bumper and your fender.

Loosen the 4 bumper/frame bolts(two per side, 17 or 19mm) where the bumper bolts into the frame right under the lower valance, eg. plastic piece under metal bumper, you can't miss them. You will then be able to adjust the bumper to the desired tolerance. Tighten and enjoy the fruition of your labor.

The X bumper also has rubber isolation mounts at the ends. Check them too or adjusting the frame mounts won't make much difference.
