Hi can any have a step by step instruction as how to remove the center console?? that is the plastic cover the gear shift.

On the 2002 you just grab it by the edges and pull it off, it takes a little muscle but that's it.

On a manual, its 4 screws, 2 per side, should be the same on an auto because owners have been using the screws to mount their mag flashlight clips.
If you do mean the main centre console, 4 screws, 2 per side as well, but you have to slide the seat back and forth to get to them.
