I have a set of the PIAA 80 xt pro series fogs. I am looking for some distance on the dark roads of Indiana. I was told to make one light a fog for the sides of the road and one driving for distance. Does that sound right? Has anyone done this before? PLease help me!

My Father did the same thing on his old MG TD. One light was a fog to light up the sides of the road and the other was a high power narrow beam to light up the distant road. It was set up so that it was a third level of lighting: normal headlights - high beams headlights - high beams+Additional lights.

Since I use my lights for off road I decided on two widebeams fot he the sides and two daylighters for the front. Kind of the same thing but with double the lights.

I just need to get home and mount them.
