Not sure where you got yours from, but SOS depends on who you ask, but most put Oregon's schedule as tougher (somewhat) - these are the first two hits I got on google:

Point is, neither were great, but most rankings and anybody who watches a lot of CFB that looks at both schedules would conclude that Oregon played the tougher schedule. ND arguably has a better "best" win, but they also have that pesky loss AT HOME to 5-6 MSU.

Bottom Line: Most would agree that Oregon played a tougher schedule (or at worst it's comparable), but Oregon only lost 1 game versus 2, and that loss was to USC - not at home versus a 5-6 MSU.

The BCS computers, which don't buy into ND's "tradition," have Oregon at 5 and ND at 10.

ND isn't a bad team, but once again they are overrated, which OSU will illustrate for the world to see. It will be nothing new - ND hasn't won a bowl in over a decade. If that isn't a sign of being consistantly overrated, I don't know what is.

I don't disagree with you there. I'm a Buckeye and am just kind of tired of hearing that Oregon should go ahead of us. The only reason ND is there is because they're "special." They have an agreement with the BCS that gets them in a game easier and gives them more money than any other team.

We all know the BCS is a bunch of crap. But whats really important here, is Nebraska got accepted for a bowl game. How the hell did this happen? Also, thanks to Bill Callahan, there is one less Nebraska fan in this state. So are there any other teams out there that need a fan? I can make really good salsa and throw a hell of a tailgate party

Same here. I was in a shitty mood after that interception at the end. My wife thinks I'm mental. No, I'm just pissed. I went straight out into the garage after the interception and worked on my POS for a few hours.

I hate supporting the bowl system, so I won't watch the other 500 bowls. The only games I'll watch is the ND/tOSU and UT/USC... and of course the Cotton Bowl today. I hope the ratings are way down where the only people watching are fans of the programs we're they'll have to see that only a playoff system will save this shipwreck of a system.

I admire your devotion. I have problems with the current system as well (obviously), but I just can't turn my back on that much college football. I love it too much not to watch, especially with the offseason looming large.

Yeah, definitely a bad bowl season (all 2 games) for me. But I'm definitely happy with how the future looks. Both bowl games were close for the most part. Tech has a Top 15 recruiting class. ND did great in only one year under coach and now has a Top 5 recruiting class coming in. Things are looking up. Maybe they'll get a real system in place by the time we're really good. :rolleyes:

The only thing I need to decide is who to root for in the Championship game. On one hand, I hate UT and can never root for a team that rivals my team. On the other hand, I want the Big XII to continue to do good in their bowls to show everyone that we're not as weak as originally thought. Guess I have a couple days to decide.
