Well, Tech looked like crap on the road against Carson Palmer's lil' bro, but a win is a win. And how 'about them Irish. Talk about an ass whoppin! [ThumbsUp]

Glad to see the Big XII's #3/4 team easily take down a Pac-1 school. wink

OU v. UW?

UW was picked #10 in the Pac-10 in all polls I've seen, and it was close until late in the third.

Was there a Pac-10 v. Big-12 game that Yahoo sports somehow missed reporting on??? [Freak]

Go Cats!

Go Cards!

Good to see that the Big XII's #2/3 team had to take UTEP into overtime to win. [Spit] [Uh Oh !] [Finger]

This just in! The Big XII sucks this year.

Texas looked like they had a freshman QB with no leader last night. aka They sucked. frown

Oregon beat Fresneck by a TD in Fresno, and controlled the game pretty well. Nice effort.

Big one coming up next week in Eugene. [ThumbsUp]

First of all, you mean the Big XII's #1/2 team. [Finger] Second, like I said, a win's a win. That was Harrell's first game on the road and really wasn't that bad for a sophomore. Definitely needs to improve or he'll be replaced by our stud freshman. Anyway, that place was rocking and we escaped with a win. If we only had a good kicker and Hicks eligible... mad Price has definitely turned that program around, so good for them.

If we play like that next week, we're going to get killed by TCU. frown

I don't think we suck any more than the rest of the conferences. I think there's a lot more parity in college football these days. You don't have that "stand out" team. You may say Ohio State after the game last night, but we'll see how they do the rest of the year. Losing late in the year to Michigan at Michigan is worse than UT losing this early to OSU. We shall see how this season plays out.

First of all, Texas didn't SUCK, they just played the way that you would expect a team with a freshman QB to play against the #1 team in the country the SECOND GAME of the season. I mean come on people, he can only do so much. Even vince didn't start until his sophomore season, and still had one loss. Next year there will be an experineced QB with alot of key players returning. And even so, the Texas D did damn well against a supposed "high-powered" offense. Either way, ND and USC are both overrated due to the predictable media hard-on for them. They played well, but against shitty teams.

Big weekend coming up. I started to warm up last night with the Thursday night game on ESPN, but that was only interesting for 34 seconds.

Random winners:

USC (Neb)
Auburn (LSU)
Michigan? (ND)
TCU (sorry Nismo - your boys looked like crap last week)
Arizona State (CU)
Tenn (Florida)
Wazzu (Baylor)

I will make no official prediction on Oregon-Oklahoma, because to do so would be to tempt fate, BUT THERE SHOULD BE A LOT OF THIS ON SATURDAY IN EUGENE:

ND (Mich)
TCU (TT)
Miami (Louisville)
Oregon (Oklahoma)
Tenn (Florida)

Edited for some Karma

OHIO STATE, hopefully all the way. Totally enjoyed the Texas game. Mac Brown is a class act and will be back.
The news this week, Columbus Firefighters are asking for felony charges for people who lite fires after Buckeye wins. Nice. Way to show your spirit. Burn the town down.

OU over OU! Woohoo! I won! laugh wink

Florida over Tenn

Michigan over ND

and my random pick of the week

Texas State over Tonya Harding 2 (Northern Colorado) [Spit]

34 - 14 Michigan at the half.

that last score was a gift by the prevent defense.

Somebody needs to seriously teach teams to NOT stomp on our Cardinal at midfield before the game. We probably ought to put it on the game program, as a reminder for any team that feels like they need to start somethin'...

Put Miami down as yet another cocky, arrogant team to come in and piss us off by jumping on the bird...

And put Miami on the list of teams that get smoked right after doing it...

31-7, GO CARDS!

wow, Oregon definitely should have lost that game (even though I am a UT fan...it was kinda BS). HORRIBLE officiating. But I am happy that ND got stomped, I have been saying all along that they are way overrated.

I hope you "Big 12" people are ready for another loss!

Trojans and Huskers are up next!

edit... Tell you the truth I don't know who to root for on that one. I hate them both but since I'm living in Big 12 country and tired of hearing their BS. Go Trojans! smile

Bad call, I admit.

But so was the non-call on the OU offensive PI on the TD catch and the expired game clock on another OU TD. 14 points on bad calls to OU. We really should have won by 3+ TDs with good execution (16 points given to OU on turnovers, stupid penalties, etc). But a win is a win.

I'm going to go watch the last 3 minutes again - I Tivo'd the game.

Btw, lmao at ND.
