Some really nice guy backed into my X at Keystone a couple of weeks back. Luckily the damage is only to the plastic of the bumper. I now have to replace the bumper and the part is 200 bucks. So here I am with an excuse to put an ARB on my X, or anything else. What other options do I have that won't wreck my suspension?
Thanks
Bryan

Anything (arb, calmini ...) exsept stock bumper will wreck your front suspencion over time
and they all around 600 $

so replace 200 $ plastick and dont get ARB if you dont need it for offroading

One option is to post that you are looking for a stock bumper. I had a little accident off roading about a month ago. Several of the guys on the trip offered to give me their old bumpers. I'm sure you could find a used one cheap.

Only if you put a winch in...then you need upgraded torsion bars. The bumper itself (ARB anyway) doesn't weigh enough more to cause problems. My front end hasn't come down at all since putting my ARB on last March.

That being said, Scott is right...there are plenty of stock bumpers available.

with out touching my T bars my front end is 1 inch lower then stock X on the dealers lot, and i have 31 inch tires that should give me 1/2 inch advantage

so that beeing sad Yes, your front suspencion will suffer from 40 lb ( or what ever the weight difference up front is )

And where might those 4 bumpers be? I just want one so the others will need to find other good homes. Also, what do people want for them? A hearty thank you and a handshake? smile

Well, those 4 bumpers are sitting at EOE after the MAXC/NJAX ARB party. Mehdi, Dave, Rich, Ken and Mike all got one. Some are sitting at EOE and I think Ken took his home. We can post on our list if you're REALLY interested.
