Just checking in. Good to see that this place is still here. Our 2001 Solar Yellow X was sideswiped by a Grand Am today. X is fine, steprail bent and some of the wheel well molding has popped out, along with the front and rear hub covers being destroyed. The Grand Am didn't fare so well. I'll have to check in here more often.

I must say, I love this site. Ive been lurking in here since 2003 when I bought the X. Lost my original profile int he big crash and im still here. Ive learned so much from the members and try and contribute when I can. I hope for the benefit of all the members it comes back to life.

You have to admit, back when NYMM was more active, there were more "interesting" discussions on the board. So maybe, just maybe, NYMM's posts were part of the reason people were more active on the board then. Maybe people thought they had to show him how much of an arrogant asshat he was sometimes?

Frankly, it just looked like a room full of mentally challenged children calling each other retards.

The new crowd might be just as passionate as the old, some more so with lights and sounds than gears and carnage.

I dont post a lot but I do read a lot of posts, this place is so very helpfull for information at times. Just doesnt seem like there are a lot of people following it.

They sponsored the National Xterra Meet last year in TN with a tour of the Nissan plant in Smyrna where the X is built and the next nXm is comming up in Sep 2012 at Coal Creek in east TN.

Good to see some of the old timers still around. I've not been on in months. My X died on me about 3 years ago, but I still miss that truck. I have made many an online friend around here, still play fantasy sports with them. Good group of guys.
