WARNING!! If you are a owner of 05 and newer, the timing chains are failing, and if you are under any drive train waranty have it checked! I have a 05 with 77,000 miles and noticed my oil pressure dropping when i came to a stop! Nissan found the time chain worn, failling and all the parts around it. I was under a 100,000 mile warrenty, but the cost was $2,859.. They said that there have been a lot of xterra's with this problem right now!!

Dude, stop the "chicken little" routine.

BTW is supposed to be spelled Timing.

Remeber grade school, you drop the "e" then add "ing"

Really? lol One word was misspelled, but if you noticed it was spelled right in my post!

Chicken little? Really? Keep drinking that Kool-Aid bud!

I and many other xterra owner's are having expensive repairs on there 2005-2008 Not only the timming chain, but now the radiators are going out and Blowing out the transmission!! Cost of $6,000-9,000k Google it, there is even a class action lawsuit! If I can SAVE Newer Generation owners thousands on repairs, ill speak up! If you are the MasterTech that you say you are, why not explain the reasons for all these problems on the newer xterra's??
