Currently have the Cooper Discoverer and in terms of life they have been good but got dicey this past winter. I do a lot of summer highway and some winter highway, some trail at cottage but no offroading. Priority for me is reliability in dicey conditions. I would consider going to winter set but never have in ten years - so why start now?

BFG is naughty.

They DO have tires for your truck...they just hid the fact by not having the SIZE you looked for.

What rim size do you have? Most of your year came with 16" rims...

Example, you can fit 275/70/16 or 265/75/16's for example.

To fit the 265/75/16's, there a little soft plastic ledge the front lower mud flaps screw into...

..when you turn the wheel, the rears of the front tires swing through part of that, so we just snip off the part in the way, and the tires clear.

If you have 15" rims, you can use 32x11.5/15 tires, and they'll fit similarly to the 265/75/16's.

If yours came with 17" rims, you go with 265/70/17's instead of 265/75/16's, and so forth.

Enjoy!
