Has anyone put a trailer brake controller on a first gen X? Where did you mount the box? How did you run the wire? Where did you pick up the brake switch line?

All of my current wiring stuff runs in cab, so I was thinking of fishing a wire through the frame... good/bad idea? I'm gonna run 2 wires, one for the 12+ line and a blue for the brake, both #14.

I almost can't believe no one's put a brake controller on their ride.

I have a controller mounted at the bottom center of the steering post. Thats the only place that will allow the controller to mounted flat. I have a Tekonsha Prodigy. Best you can buy
