hey man. First of all let me welcome you to the board. second of all let me warn you that some people may get upset about this post. Let me tell you why:
This site has been around a while. People have covered most of the topics that us newbies are concerned about. (like the ARB bull bar)
So, in order to find out this type of information in the future, I would suggest using the search engine that can be found on the main forum pages.
The ARB bull bar is a great accessory. I don't have it, but I hear that it is very strong and has good integrity. There are many many posts about this on many threads, but I am not sure of the names of any of them. Search for ARB bull bar in the engine.
If you can't find them there, email me and I will send you pics.
Welcome to the board,

Why thanks for mentioning us. A LOT of the folks here have ARB's, some of whom actually use them - they're the new "in" thing whether you go off-road or not I guess. ------------------ philosopher@angelfire.com Philosopher's Xterra Mid-Atlantic Xterra Club

I am thinking of ordering an ARB bullbar for my 2000-X , wonder if there is any mods/drilling etc. during the install or it is a simple plug and play?
Thanx!!

The ARB bumper can require drilling when installing. If you are uncomfortable doing this, you might want to have an Offroad shop do htis for you. Also, there are several threads in this forum explaining the ARB install process. SEveral of them have pictures of the actual installation. ------------------ :wq! wqbang@southeastxterraclub.org

Gearhead, your ARB install compared to mine looks different. There seems to be a bigger space between the bumper and the grill. Did they drill the holes different? I didn't do any grinding/drilling and the bumper rest perfectly under my grill with barely of a gap showing. ------------------ Join the Heartland Xterra Owners Club! www.hxoc.net

Those pics I have are not the greatest. My grill sits right on top of the ARB with no gap. ------------------ Kevin 00' Super Black SE 5 speed 31" BFG M/T's, ARB, Rancho RSX's superblackxterra.tripod.com
