Anyone see anything wrong with this hitch off eBay? I know it doesn't have frame stiffeners, but I don't plan on doing a lot of towing. My wife's Escape came with a towing package and she sold it (Thank God!) and now I would like to have it on the X just in case. I might have to pull a Uhaul trailer someday if I move or use it for a bike rake holder, etc etc. It says 500#, is that pretty accurate? Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't the X have trouble towing 5k without the stiffeners?

Be wary about tire size as well. Certain tires, like Swampers, won't fit in there. Most will, but I think 32's is the biggest you can get in, and that's only on some types of tire.
