I am in the process of purchasing my first Xterra and was wondering what kind, if any, of tires/wheels would be a good upgrade from the stock units. I hope to be able to do some moderate to difficult off-roading with my X and wondered if the stock tires are adequate, if not, what should I do?

depends on what you are looking for in a tire, people here mostly run AT tires (pirelli scorpions or BFG ATs) or Mud tires (BFG Muds or Swampers). like spike said check the other board for more info
