#83563 - 03/10/06 02:35 AM OEM fog light question...

Just got the S 4x4, but decided I wanted to get the foggers at a later date. Are the covers/opening prewired for the 275.00 kits you can get online? Do you advise getting the OEM, with nice fit and finish, or is there aftermarket PIAA's that install just as easily?

Very curious about this....need the foggers in the mountains. Thanks! [Wave]

I installed some PIAA 510 lights instead. It was fairly easy to wire up. I wired mine through the trailer fuse box area under the hood so I can have my fog light running with out turning on the head lights.

The stock lights are not that bad. Sure there are better.

All the wireing for the stock lights are there. You just need the lights, mounting hardware and turn signal stock. You can find this as a kit at many of the online dealers. I suggest www.yournissanparts.com

Thanks,

I think I'll go for the kit, nice to know the wiring is there...plug-n-play.

what are some better, more powerful fog light kits out there? i need some links.

i just bought an 06 w/o them, and want to hook up some as fast as possible.

also, if i do get an aftermarket pair, will they be able to be hooked up w/ the existing wires, and work w/ the new headlight column thing?

thanks
