Sorry to tear you all away from the New steering conversation, but this is important. Note the solid axel design that provides maximum articlutation and the grooved all terrain tires that will get you over the roughest of terrain. laugh With the lack of work going on I was left with some time to wander around Summitt racing today...(dangerous, very dangerous having that place so close) what did I see while there? That's right a PowerTank kit. I bought it entirely on impulse and left the store with a mad gleam in my eye. A quick trip to the fire-extinguisher store resulted in what I lovingly call The Wheezin' Geezer. I painted it white so noone would plug in Grandma by accident. Breathing CO2 would ruin her whole day. The three tanks I got ran the same as getting the one tank from Advanced Air, and I got the bottle buggy to boot. All the tanks were tested and new valves installed. Total price $300.

Where the heck are you gonna mount that huge tank? My PT-10 is just the right size and came with a bracket.

Bwahahahahah! That is pretty cool. How much did it cost? It is rather large though.

It isn't that big. It fits well behind either seat or laying at an angle over one of the wheel wells. Three tanks set up for $100 and the kit was $200. The guy I got the tanks from said he could build a setup similar to the kit for about $120, so it could be done for even less than what I paid. Essentially you could do something like this for under $200. Half the fun is doing stuff like this smile

Had to. As I was warned, people kept mixing ChuckH and me up. It's also the title of a StarTrek episode. [Geek]

That thing is huge, is that the PT-15? I would have gone with the PT-10.

Neither. They are/it is a retrofitted oxygen tank. Much cheaper than the PT tanks. It really isn't as big as it looks. I got the idea seeing the old folks wheeling them around the casinos.

just an fyi, a white bottle refers to 'medical oxygen' smile (mind you it also needs to have a green top, but most people look at the bottle colour first) just in case you were really worrried about pluggin 'granny' in smile [Spit]

I was going to try and score a used CO2 tank from a soda-fountain application and work from there myself.

It fits fine here, but the cart is out of the question for storage smile I also hit some Pawn shops today and got almost new 1/2 and 3/8 impacts, sockets (deepwell, standard, SAE, Metric) in a full range of sizes up to 1 1/4" and a butterfly impact for under $100!! They aren't MAC or Snappy by any means, but they will work for the limited things I do. This should make those parking lot ARB jobs go easier wink Goodbye lug-wrench smile
