I took my truck in to AV Nissan today. Two reasons... the fuel sender recall and my suspicion that the exhaust manifold had developed that the notorious crack.

The service rep, Chad, called me last week and asked me to bring it in early so they could fix the manifold if it was indeed cracked.

I got there today and Chad came right out and stated that it was a warranty issue. No question about it. After they did the troubleshooting and confirmed the crack, they hit me with the bad news. The truck won't be ready until Monday. The good news is that they gave me a rental vehicle until then.

Good department there... no complaints from me.

It's worth noting that I did not buy my truck from them. I bought it in Ontario.
