Brought my 2000 SE Xterra in on 3/15 to discover that my head gasket was leaking and needed to be replaced. Only 68,000 miles on it. 3 months and 2 days earlier it was in for the 65K mile check up and no sign of trouble then. I've called Nissan Consumer Affairs twice and still am waiting for the dealership to recieve the part... I think this is pretty unreasonable to be waiting this long (3/25) for the part considering it was supposedly being shipped overnite last Tues (3/16)then later I'm told it's coming from CA and I'm still waiting... any suggestions on who I can call besides Consumer Affairs and complain to? My frustration level is pretty high right now!
