Not a bad experience, relatively painless. it came out to about $181 total including taxes, are big difference from $325 i was quoted by another dealer. Plus no hidden charges, everything itemized nicely on the bill and in a price sheet.

cool thing was their facilities are pretty modern and i could see them working on my car from the waiting area.

how long is their wait list? ( i came to the dealership last evening , need them to check out my rear wiper ( it stoped working ;( ), they sad come on next thursday at 7 am)

I just showed up without an appointment. I think they could service something like 6-8 vehicles simultaneously. They had that many service bays! Hours are something like 6:30am to 7:00pm

I have some strange Breaks problem, dealer dont know , or dont want to fix it

I was there on monday. Got my X broke into sunday night. Thieves just smashed the window and the stupid alarm didn't go off!

The repair was okay-took 2 days mostly to recieve the part not in stock. Total came out to 191$ with the part only $54. Atleast the glass is cheap. I checked the price at another source and they wanted $80. They did a good job installing the window. Good thing so far about Koeppel Nissan, they don't seem to mark up the price for parts.

All you NYC guys, what aftermarket alarms do you have? I thought i had shock/vibration sensors but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Stock alarm is cheap ass alarm
it will go off only if the light inside of the truck comes on

go to your local shop and get a viper or something.

just the passenger rear window. big enough for someone to climb into.

if you don't have to park on the street-DON'T!!! The factory alarm doesn;t have shock sensors either.

I upgraded to a passive alarm and thought i got shock sensors but they didn;t go off! actually, that's what the dealer said he was selling me when i bought it. i bought from another dealer who i am no longer recommending. i have to call them and give them hell. there is no way the alarm shouldn't have gone off if they broke the window. i felt like Joe pesci fom "The Super" after his car got stripped....

it happens in the city-upper west side on a busy avenue. unbelievable! hopefully a good samaritan saw something and did the right thing.

it's still works in progress though so i'll let you know if it has a happy ending.

it's a warning to x owners-mind your vehicles! probably should remove the step rails too.

just took mine in for an oil change and to get the step rail looked at-the powder coat is peeling off. i know that this should be a warranty fix-other people have had this problem resolved. however, as expected-the first reaction is "I don't know if that;s a warranty issue-have to talk to the warranty advisor"

Hey Steinism,
was that your X i saw at koeppel Nissan this morning? It had front and rear guards and a basket on top. What were you having done to it?

I'm having my step rail replaced with the flaking powder coat replaced.

by the way, about my ealier problem-cost me 193$ to replace the broken rear driver side passenger window. Hope you all never need to have it done but if you do, that's my cost.

yeah that was mine. it's been there for almost a week now. the rear main seal was shot somehow. i went to go pick it up yesterday(tue), and when i drove it out of the garage i was getting some weird rubbing sound from the front passenger wheelwell. had to leave it there for another day. funny thing is is that why were they touching that part of my truck? i had no problem's there.
