i thought having your truck serviced by the dealer was supposed to be a good thing, you know when you sell it you could say that "it was dealer maintained" and all. these guys couldn't care less about anything but their own vehicle!

Wich NY dealers did you go to ?
I still cannot find a good one

any my offroad mods aint helping ether

when they look at the truck, first thing they say: " you dont have waranty , becourse you made modifications to parts, and/or your mod coused it "

koeppel, originally i was going to auto-tech in manhattan then i read somewhere on the board that koeppel was the place to go. i did read in the past about how you hated them oleg. is there anywhere in our area we can go?

there are 3 dealerships that i been to or know first hand about

1 kopel were nice on small easy stuff, until they had to spend time on the problem, wich made them very adjitative(?sp?) and then they became very fu**ed up dealership towards me

2 bayridge ( in brooklyn) looked at my truck and sad "sorry, but we dont / cannot touch it, becourse there are too many modifications, and we dont know if one of them coused a problem
I came to them with my rear washer did not work ( needed to change the pump)

3 Kings nissan ( on coney island and belt prkw
told me: "they have priority to the nissan cars that were sold by their dealership, and becourse i did not get mine from them, it will take about 6 days till they get their hands on my truck"

i've been to biener nissan in great neck, li. it's where i bought my x from. they seemed to know what they were talking about but my dealings with them were minimal. they put my 3m tape under the wind deflector with no hassles. check them out if you want. i think the service department was okay.

do you guys know of a good reliable mechanic with a clean garage and speaks english? that's the type of place or person i would feel more comfortable with. most of these dealerships can't handle the daily volume of repairs so they do their work quickly and care less about quality. i picked up my truck from koeppel a week ago and they put a good size scratch in the back hatch. i noticed it when i picked it up and they're now fixing it with no questions.

I think the shop i am going to , is OK for day to day things

but looking at them, i would not think they will be able to solve some major electrical or major mechanical problem on a brand new truck (thats why i need to find a good dealer)

they are in brooklyn
(they speak english )

how would i get home ?
not too many dealers here offer a loaner or rental

i've not heard anything bad about Star Nissan in bayside. it's also kind of far though.

the least these guys offer to do is drive you to the LIRR. yeah, kind of sucks but i guess that's why i've been going to Koeppel. it's closer to home.

sorry to hear about the scratch in your hatch though. that sucks....

Warnock actually has several locations and sell different makes. The Warnock Nissan, go I-80 to Rt. 287 south about 2 minutes to exit 36? (Ridgedale Ave. Make a right off the exit ramp. Go about 2 blocks and the dealership is right there. About a half hour ride for me. I live 1 mile from the GWB. A ride, but worth it.
