Tomorrow, I'm headed out with the Island Rock Crawlers (Vancouver Island, that is) as they're having their first annual 'Chicks Only' 4x4 run. I hear there's another Xterra going besides me so we'll be well represented! I just hope I don't scratch my beautiful baby  I know, I know!!

You guys'll probably laugh, but I've been practicing the shifts in & out of 4L in my driveway (steep & gravel, luckily)... The advice you've all given on that topic really helped - thanks!!

Hopefully my truck'll come home covered in mud but otherwise uninjured!

**If I'm in the wrong forum with this, flame away -- I'm prepared!

Good luck. I think it is great. You should have seen me in Moab. Talk about making any girl proud and the only damage was the tail pipe. I was the first one in line to cross the crack and I was doing the two wheel action. Girls Rule!! laugh laugh

Hey Hayley, nice to meet you.

I hope you enjoyed your first Xterra wheeling experience.
I'm just wondering what yuou thought of your baby on the trail?
I hope you didn't scratch your X up.

Thanks for the support guys!

I had a great time - all of the other ladies had their husband's or boyfriend's off-roader - mostly jacked up Suzukis & Toyotas. They were amazed at what my stock X (including General Grabbers) was capable of in the snow... To be honest, I was too; especially when in 4L (really glad I practiced that before I went).

I now have 31" Yokohama AT's on the truck & can't wait to get out there again!!!
