does the xterra have to be stopped to transfer to 4h?
What is the max speed to transfer?
If one is stuck, does one have to go a certain distance for the 4wd to engage?..the truck is 2001 model
During the winter I got stuck in snow in d.c. in 2wdrive tried to transfer to 4h, the indicator light was on at 4 wheel drive spot, but the truck could not engage?

its also on the back side of the sun visor above your head.
