Well I have a black X and had some problems with water spots so I went ahead and did the 3 steps and it got rid of 90 % of the spots as months go by and with repeated waxings I am sure they will fade all the way. I also did a 3 step on my mothers 97 cirrus that had never been waxed or taken care of and it did wonders.
