Same thing happened to me last year in my 2000 X. I calaimed $500 for a new hitch, even tho the old one was not damaged!

The insurance company settled like 5 days after the accident because I didn't claim more than the $500. Deffinately see a Chiropractor on their dime if you have even the slightest back or neck ache.
