The instructions say 20 ft-lbs. If you do that, there shouldnt be a problem. I know at least one person used 31 ft-lbs for some reason.
A std 5/16 x 1" (course thread) bolt will work fine. 20 ft-bs for grade 5 and 29 ft-lbs for Grade 8.[/b]
Probably because the Service Manual states 36ft-lbs for C200 and 31ft-lbs for the M226 (D44 variant).
