The code set for that specific problem is for the Air Flow Meter which is why people were replaceing them initially. The dealer who pulled the fault code should be able to supply you the ECU # (it prints at the top of the print-out which lists the fault codes automagically) and then compare that to the application in the TSB. It shouldn't be rocket science but sounds like the dealer is being way more then difficult.
