Not too shabby....
Looks a bit more "plastic-ky".....but it also appears that many of the initial elements of our (dare I say it) first generation X's have been massaged a bit to lead to a more uniform and integral design( example....the roof rack appears more thought out and integrated and less tacked on to me).
I like the drivetrain power increase.....don't like the push-button, turn-knob, or whatever transfer case shifting.
Overall.....cool. I'll stick with my utilitarian 2000 X....but in reference to how the 2005 could have been really dicked up, I am impressed with the overall logical metamorphosis.
