Two psi is a very big difference in the amount of air that can be forced into an engine. Once you change one thing, you have to go down the line to adapt the others to the change. These engines are computer controlled, when you change boost pressures the ECU needs to be remapped to add more fuel. More air without more fuel equals lean engine. That's bad.
