You are a weirdo. The whole idea is to take a vehicle out and try it out and see what you like. If you were dead-set on an Xterra than you will have to find a solution yourself.
Nissan doesn't build a vehicle to suit everyone's physiology. You buy it, you're stuck with it. There is no hand-holding in the real world.
Fuzzy feelings come from trying 10 competitors and finding something you like.
