I have a 02' X got it a few months ago. I have put new treads on it, had it alligned, put some bilseins on it, had a tie rod replaced, and it still does not drive straight. I noticed that when it is in a parking space it the wheels don't line up. I am assuming that it has a bent frame. Has anyone had work done on their frame? Any recommedations? Any idea about the cost of something like this?

yea...i took mine to a firestone to get it aligned and they came back and told me that my frame must be bent because the readings were so bad. I tried explaining to them that they couldn't compare it to the regular numbers because of the bigger tires and lift, but they didn't want to hear any of it. I took it to another shop and they aligned it fine.

First off run a CarFax on it to see if there was a reportable accident. Did you buy it from a dealer or private party? If it shows a reportable accident I think you have legal recourse if they did not disclose the accident.

Thanks for the feedback. I got it from a buddy who sells cars. He had run a carfax on it, came back clean. I have had it alligned, without any problems, but it hasn't done the trick. I have gotten a couple of names of good mechanics, so I will see what they think.
