Several of the engineers at my office have dual monitors. Many though are patchwork pairs made of LCD's that are the same size - but possibly with different specs. 100% brightness on the left one - does not equal 100% brightness on the right one. This results in a noticable difference on screen.

So my question for the greater XOC knowledge base - has there been any studies conducted showing the added eye fatique on having non-matching dual monitors? I figure there has got to be some kinda physical toll on switching left and right with your eyes all day forcing your eyes and brain to make these minor adjustments.

Has there been any studies conducted showing the added eye fatique on having non-matching dual monitors?
