Just wanted to get you all thinking about the December "Donation Trip". It really is not that far off to start planning.

If you can go than that is GREAT but if you can't and can get donations that is good too.

If you have questions... Scott, Keith and I have been and can help answer them.

Thanks in Advance,
Roger

Abiel and the crew in Mexico are still working on specific dates but it is usually the first or second weekend. We also add some days for touring the area and playing tourist smile that is always up to us. They meet and leave early Saturday morning and we come out of the mountains on Monday.

Well, I've been totally inactive for years... finally paid my dues this year and have still been inactive... since the years almost over, I might should try to join in on a trip - and this one sounds like something really worthwhile...

How are donations collected?

Personally, I just get donations at work. Actualy I can usually get more donations than I can carry in my truck.

Just remember these are very poor people. Cloths and sleeping things like blankets and sheets are good but thay have little access to cooking utencils, pots and pans and especailly building materials and tools. Dried or non-perishible food is GR8 too.

Heck even if you did not fill your truck... when we get to Monterrey the Mexican clubs have plenty of stuuf and could use help transporting it.

To Roger or Abiel or anyone who's been on the Mexico trip:

Do ya'll know what the altitude is at the places you visit? Anyone ever have problems adjusting? Or is it not that high?

Roger, I'm working on getting the insurance coverage right now, how have you guys handled this in the past? Can you add this to your existing policy? Do you have to get a new policy just for those dates? My agent wasn't sure and I'm waiting on a call back from him so I thought I would check with you guys.

Also Roger, did I see a post where you were talking about making a road trip to the border to take care of the registration? Have you done that already? Would like to do that also if you haven't.

Thanks guys,

Mike
