Going in though, you ran similar lines, but your passenger front didn't drop in.

It's very hard to tell from the angle of the camera, but that line looks similar to the line Dean (XPLORx4) took in his R50 last year. Ian you were there both times, can you confirm this?

I wasn't there this year.
From the video, Todd had the exact same line, but backed off a bit and changed his mind. Aero Steve was a bit further to the passenger side, and at a slightly more parallel angle.

I think dean came at it even steeper than I did. I'll send Dean an email and see if he has the video from last year.

Doug's line is nearly identical to the line I took in '03. The hole that the right front tire dropped into for a second is the one that snagged me and made my crossing, um, "less than graceful. Notice how he turned right quickly to get out of the hole. I didn't do that, which got me stuck there for a few seconds more.
