Just a quick question for someone who may know. I have got a capacitor for my system and am wondering the correct way to install. The wiring diagram that came with it gives the inclination to wire it with a power wire in and a power wire out (to and from the capacitor)---(from battery into capacitor-then capacitor into amp) I know how to ground it, and every other component is hooked up correctly in the system. Just curious if this is the best way to wire it, or if there is a better more efficient one?

You run the large power wire from the battery (via a fuse!) to the cap and then from the cap with a very short lager power wire to the amplifier. Ditto with the ground wire.

The cap is wired like this to put it in parallel with the battery acting as a second smaller battery for those quick bursts of current that are needed at music peaks.
