Just to clarify the whole repack your front bearings..

From the manual page 9-7 Maintenance

concerning bearing repacking..

"if operating frequently in water, replace grease every 3,750 miles (6,000 km) or 3 months"

So yes.. you need to repack your bearings if you are doing water crossings.
