In the Forest Service's Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit. West of Lake Tahoe, Hwy.89 and McKinney Bay. Links Tahoma and Idlewild.
HIGHLIGHTS:
Pretty lakes and streams, waterfowl, mountains.
DIFFICULTY:
Easy to moderate, with road conditions ranging from asphalt to graded dirt, loose rock and large mud holes.
TIME & DISTANCE:
About 2.5 hours; 19 miles.
