Drove by Turner Nissan on the way home yesterday to see if they have any of the new Xterra's in. Surprisingly they had one right out front....silver no less. I was surprised to see it since I talked to the internet sales rep for Roseville Nissan yesterday and they told me all their Xterra's coming in this month and early next have already been pre sold or are special orders. The claim they wont have an unspoken for shipment till end of March or early April. Wow.

Anyway......after looking at the new 2005 in person I wasn't all that impressed. Don't get me wrong it still has the basic Xterra shape which I like....but for some reason it just looks "heavier" to me for some reason. I guess after seeing it and thinking that it still wont pull more than my 2000 I will make due with my 2000 and see how long and how well it winds up pulling the trailer I get.

Hopefully all the reports I keep hearing that the 2000 X pulls better then I would think turn out to be true.
