Just my $0.02.

I've a tent trailer which I've been towing with an F350 (4x4 crew cab 7.5L carbureted).

When I bought my X, my best friend suggested that I could probably sell off the F350 since I would be able to tow with the X instead.

I decided to continue using the F350 for towing since even going up to Mount Larsen last summer was a stretch with the trailer, 6 people, camping equipment, bicycles etc etc. Don't want to put my new X through all that pain

One possibility, if you want to go offroading, is to get a cabover camper on a Titan, then tow the X behind it.
