Yes, they're OK. Hopefully your brush guard doesn't decrease front ground clearance (i.e. approach angle) too much. (I've seen some poor brush guard designs that stick down below the bumper by as much as 4 inches.) As long as you place your tires carefully on some of the larger obstacles, you should be fine.
