All - Thanks to those who made it. Also, congrats to those who won something in the raffle: Andy, first SWXC event and he got a Hi-lift, JG for the recovery kit, and RR for the tow strap.

Even though my life was a comedy of errors this weekend, it was a good time!

Pics anyone?

It was great seeing everyone. I'm glad we were able to score the perfect campsite! The relaxing, visiting (and beer-drinking!) were just what I needed. Now, back to another week of HELL.

Nice meeting you, Andy. Give me a call if you want to meet up.

I'm working on it, I didn't get home last night until 9:30. Had quite an interesting drive to Enchanted Rock. I had used Mapsource and Streets and Trips to plan the route and load it into the GPS for the trip. I picked what looked like FM/RM roads the whole way and the most direct route. It was interesting driving on RM 1323 and all of a sudden the pavement ends and it turns in to Burnett County Road 301, which is just a dirt road though a number of ranches with loose Livestock in the fields on the side of the road (no fences betwen the road and the fields, just cattle guards and fences between the property lines). The stream crossings were interesting, each had a flood gauge on them, and most of the had running water in them even then (though below the 1 foot marks). But that's fun getting out of the ranches during a rain storm, guess you don't and stay home. Have the give the GPS credit though it was always tracking on the road I was driving on, even it if didn't know the right name.

I've got 70 or so pictures to process and select some from.
